    SAN CESARIO SUL PANARO, Italy*— The Pagani Zonda Revolucion has debuted with a price tag of $2.8 million. The car is the most extreme version of the Pagani Zonda R dedicated track car series.

    Another stunning number is the car's weight — just 2,359 pounds — thanks to a carbon-titanium monocoque.

    The track special is equipped with an 800-horsepower 6.0-liter V12 AMG engine. The engine is linked to a six-speed magnesium sequential transmission.

    "Pagani Zonda Revolucion is the ultimate experience for individuals who want to experience the thrill of an extreme track experience in a safe and intuitive machine," the company said in a statement posted on its Web site.

    Other details include a traction-control system developed by Bosch with 12 different settings and a revised antilock brake system.

    The car features new deflectors on the hood and a rear-mounted vertical stabilizer. A drag-reduction system on the rear wing has two different operating modes that are activated by the driver.
