if they aren't in the sun, they are very very close, but when the sun hit, you can see the metallic shows and lightens up the color on the vette.

Got in the parts for the next mod...ADDING Homelink to the truck. When I picked it up, I could not believe that ANY of GM's trucks comes with it. I guess they figure no one parks there trucks in a garage. but after going back to the original remote on the sunvisor for a few weeks. and I found a thread in the Colorado/Canyon forum I am on, there was a lit to do the add, and it uses the GM module and buttons that comes standard in most GM cars where the buttons are in the headliner.

OMG yesterday I had a WTF moment, the package for the above ^^^ item came, and was happy as I was/could do the mod this weekend. NOT!! when I opened the box, what did I see....A FRICKIN REAR VIEW MIRROR!!!! WTF!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so I jump on line (AMAZON) and did the return thing, went to the UPS store (which is about 45 miles round trip) to ship it back....and the RIGHT (I HOPE) part was auto ordered. It will get here tomorrow. keeping my fingers crossed that they send the right thing this time....one thing that is encouraging is the last one came via UPS, and this one is through the regular mail....which is what I expected that last time. WE WILL SEE!

Part 1 of the next mod.....the trumpets are on the way, I bought them separately to do all of the fitment and mounting first before committing to getting the compressor and tank. but I am very confident that I can find a good place to mount them.
